Grad Student Appreciation Week

About Grad Student Appreciation Week

Grad Student Appreciation Week (GSAW) is celebrated the first week of April each year and will be observed April 3 - 7, 2023. The purpose of this week is to celebrate and emphasize the contributions, impact, and value of our graduate and professional students. Our goal is to reward their significant contributions to Georgia Tech and showcase the campus community’s appreciation through various events and promotions. Daily events throughout the week will provide opportunities to engage, network, and have some fun!

This initiative, sponsored by the Graduate Resource and Information Network (GRIN), is aligned with the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students' Graduate-Professional Student Appreciation Week.

Units across Georgia Tech will be celebrating all graduate students in various ways (online and in-person) throughout the week. The week will end with the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition finals.
